David Carson-- Web Designer Post

David Carson is an American graphic designer who uses a lot of typography in his work. He is the art director of the magazine Ray Gun, which is a rock and roll magazine. He is known for his grunge style and he is one of the mot influential graphic designers of the 1990s. He found his own studio in 1995 and has done some work with Pepsi Cola, Ray ban, Nike, Microsoft, Budweiser, Georgio Armani, NBC, MGM Studios, Nine Inch Nails, and many many more. I really liked this article, but I think the most interesting section for me was section 5, when he talks about public spacing and the need to believe in a god. I think it was one of the articles that caught me off guard the most. Saying that the only way one can make a public space is to believe in any or a god is interesting, especially since it is a topic of religion.
